"People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then, is a certain love. And [he] found a certain love with [her], a grateful love, a deep but quiet love, one that he knew, above all else, was irreplaceable."
-Mitch Albom (The Five People You Meet in Heaven)
Sometimes love that was found gets lost in the shuffle and disappointments of life. Then it must be a choice. I choose to find it, to revitalize it if possible, at least to give it a second chance. I choose to love.
ReplyDeleteOh Lynn, I feel the same way. Life is filled with choices. We each have to be willing to choose.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness... you didn't get this snow lately, did you?
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect photo for this poem - which I love, by the way! Poetry is so fun and I think you will do quite well. I only started in October and I think with daily practice I have improved upon my first attempts. It is also fun that my oldest son has a passion for it, so it is something we discuss and share. I look forward to your poetry!
