If a picture paints a thousand words

This blog is a place for me to work on my photography. My goal is to submit a new picture every day and to get better as the moments go by. I take all pictures with my digital camera. I worked for years with a 35 mm minolta, and this is a learning experience for me. I am afraid that I got lazy and allowed the camera to choose most of the settings for me. This is my journey of learning how to shoot a camera that is not in a program mode. It is harder than I ever imagined. That makes this challenge both a new experience and a joy for me.

Old Tyme Wagon - Day 76

This old wagon seemed to me to be begging for me to take a picture.  I loved it in Black and White.  It was so beautiful.

I love the bones of it.

I love the tilt and the curve of it.

I love the hidden treasure of it.

I even love the old-time simplicity.

  3. Like that last one a lot - can you imagine how bumpy the rides must have been!? The top one is kind of poignant - it protected someone, once.

  4. Thank you so much. I am so grateful that I don't have to find out how bumpy that ride must have been. I can't even imagine walking thousands of miles over rugged terrain, tired, sore and hungry. I love the black and whites because it seems to age the photos somehow.
