If a picture paints a thousand words

This blog is a place for me to work on my photography. My goal is to submit a new picture every day and to get better as the moments go by. I take all pictures with my digital camera. I worked for years with a 35 mm minolta, and this is a learning experience for me. I am afraid that I got lazy and allowed the camera to choose most of the settings for me. This is my journey of learning how to shoot a camera that is not in a program mode. It is harder than I ever imagined. That makes this challenge both a new experience and a joy for me.

I'm gonna miss him - Day 122

My grand-daughter Lillie was so sad to leave on Sunday.  The thing she was absoluted heartbroken over, wasn't leaving family, it was leaving Arnold!  (He is my grand-daughter Nora's new puppy).  She cried and cried until we took Arnold to the airport with us so that she could hug him, hold him, and squeeze him all the way there.  It is hard to leave a new friend!

  1. Awe. I hope she has a dog to love at her house... I am not really a dog person, (I am a cat person) but I have three dogs because I know what a comfort and best friend they can be. I love the last photo - he has his paw above her heart. :)

  3. Aw, I am so glad you got to spend time with your beautiful family! You will have to send her photos of the pup so that she can see him often :)
