If a picture paints a thousand words

This blog is a place for me to work on my photography. My goal is to submit a new picture every day and to get better as the moments go by. I take all pictures with my digital camera. I worked for years with a 35 mm minolta, and this is a learning experience for me. I am afraid that I got lazy and allowed the camera to choose most of the settings for me. This is my journey of learning how to shoot a camera that is not in a program mode. It is harder than I ever imagined. That makes this challenge both a new experience and a joy for me.

Little Lion - Day 18

A few pounds of trouble - Day 18

Last year, we bought ourselves a puppy.  It is something the girls have been wanting for a long time.  Sadly, daddy did not feel the same way.  It has taken a long time to find the perfect dog for our family.  After a lot of research and thought, we settled on a small Yorkie.  Daddy named him Yoda.

We did not tell the girls they were getting a puppy.

You have never seen such excited girls in your life!

The smiles say it all!

This is Yoda today.  About 6 inches high and thinking he is a very large lion.  He protects us from everything and everyone.  Oh yeah, and you will never guess who he loves best!

That's right, he is daddy's dog.

  2. We had a Yorkie. John wanted a dog he could name "Kujo" but he got Binker. That little 5 pound dog chased an opossum behind a bush one night - He had not idea he almost got torn to shreds... Yes, lion-hearted they are. Enjoy this little guy.
